Did you know that 80% of your physical results and how you feel is dependent upon what and when you eat?
That’s right!
Wait too long between meals and one may feel tired and lethargic. Eat foods which do not match your oxidative rate (the rate at which one converts food into energy) and one risks feeling weak and tired. If we eat more food (calories) than we burn off then we gain weight (even if we’re exercising!). Conversely, if we burn off more calories then we take in then one can expect to lose weight. It is important to remember that muscle is our “fat burning machinery”. Lean body mass (muscle) is the only entity in the body which uses fat for energy and burns it!
How about vitamins and minerals? Are you getting all the right quantities of these through your foods? Our soil has been depleted of so many of the necessary nutrients. It is thus virtually impossible to receive all of the essential nutrients our body so desperately needs for optimal health. Additionally, food gets “denatured”, a process whereby food processing and modern techniques take away all of those important vitamins and minerals.
